Nemours Children’s Reading BrightStart!
Donate to help us develop happy, healthy readers.

Child health and reading skills are closely linked, and literacy gaps have become a national child health issue. Nemours Children’s Reading BrightStart! is a research-based solution that creates a strong reading foundation for children who are at risk for reading failure. Reading BrightStart! supports child literacy development from birth to age five, and was developed in response to best practices in pediatrics.

Donations allow us to bring Nemours Children’s Reading BrightStart to more children in our service areas and across the nation.

Nemours Children’s Reading BrightStart! consists of 3 elements: curricula to build early literacy skills, professional development for educators to accompany our curricula, and a website focused on helping families lay the foundational building blocks of literacy in their homes. Learn more here.
